Terms and conditions, cancellations & refund policy

Workshops, Art Therapy retreats, Art Therapy Sessions and/or Supervision and Coaching sessions face to face:

Gestalt Art Therapy centre has the Mission to offer the best services to clients. It is our goal to provide training, Psychological attention and Coaching in a safe environment.

Due to the COVID-19 situation and government restrictions, our centre could temporarily shut down activities at any time. This means that it is not a cancellation. If you paid for any of the scheduled activities, and due to the COVID-19 situation and / or the closure of state borders that would affect participants, the activities were not developed, the options we are giving to customers are:

- Participation at the Rescheduled activity

- Exchange the booked and paid activity (Workshops, Art Therapy retreats, Art Therapy Sessions and/or Supervision, face to face) for similar activity and/or different, in another available format such an online format, based on availabilities. For retreats please read the specific information below.

- Receiving a Voucher of the paid amount.

The option of refund is not available. Acquiring our workshops participation, Art Therapy retreats, face to face or online Sessions, means that you accept all the Policy conditions referred in this page.

Gestalt Art Therapy Centre is offering Workshops, Art Therapy retreats, face to face Art Therapy Sessions and/or Supervisions, Coaching following the instructions of the QLD Health. 

We will practice at our centre:

  • Social distancing. Maximum of 6 participants and one facilitator can be at the centre. (Indoors 4 square meters provided per person in an enclosed space, in a room and the same outdoor)

  • Use of sanitary disinfectants (Provided by the centre)

  • Optional gloves and masks (Clients' responsibility) The centre will not provide to participants any of these items.

 

Important Information WORKSHOPS:

Following the Australian Government Health department indications and with the objective of offering a safe space for all participants and facilitators:

  • Every participant before being admitted to each Workshop/ Retreat/ Face to face session must:

- Confirm that he/she did not travel before 14 days of the activity day (Workshop/ Retreat/ Face to face session). If the participant was travelling (International and/or Interstate and or to COVID-19 hotspots) 14 days before the day of the workshop, unfortunately, he/she will be not admitted at the Workshop/ Session/ Retreat.

- We will collect and keep customer details, for Australian Government Health department tracing requirements. Our centre has the Check In Qld APP. Participants prior participating at any event managed by the Gestalt Art therapy centre must register in this APP.

-  Have Temperature measured:

If the participant has symptoms like fever (37°C or more), coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath, unfortunately, he/she will be not admitted at the Workshop/ Session/ Retreat. Because a fever of 37°C may be a symptom of infection with the COVID-19, Gestalt Art Therapy centre will take participants' temperatures (by the facilitator) before allowing them to participate at any face to face activity. Also, facilitator/s will have the test in front of all participants, this is to ensure that everyone has no temperature. Temperature 37°C We will use an infrared thermometer indicated not to touch the client during the measurement, refusing this test means that you will not be admitted at the activity. You are welcome to reschedule your activity participation (please note that reschedule are not possible for retreats) or exchange the activity paid to another product like Books from our online shop or online services announced in our website. Any refund will be done. Participating in our activities means that you accept all these Terms and conditions. For Refunds/cancelation policy in Retreats please read the specific information below.

- During the Activity day, participants will receive instructions related to social distancing, where to be allocated in the Centre room. Procedures, using Art materials, information about good hygiene practices like washing hands, not touching your face, etc

- To avoid possible infections, we will offer tea and coffee and milk, during break times, with disposable cups, please use your own cup/spoon if possible. (We will have plastic cups and plastic spoon only for one use) also, it is not permitted sharing food, bring only individually packaged food. You will find hand sanitizer in some parts in the Centre rooms, kitchen, and Toilet.

- Paper napkins will be available in the kitchen and bathroom area. You can use the microwave, remembering to clean your hands before touching the appliance and clean the appliance door and buttons after use.

- Participants’ shoes must remain outside the workshop room, inside the room, you must bring socks.

Participants without socks will be not allowed, if you forgot yours you can buy a pair at the centre. Ask us for more information, please.

- If unfortunately, after all of the measures taken by Gestalt Art Therapy centre, with the objective of minimize contagions, if any COVID-19 infection will be reported or discovered from any participant/ facilitator, after any of the workshops/ Retreats, face to face Sessions, Gestalt Art Therapy centre will report the situation to QLD Health department, and we expect that the Department will contact you. This means that you allow us to share with QLD Health department your personal information like Phone number and /or email and/or address, for only this COVID-19 situation recorded through the Check in QLD APP. Gestalt Art Therapy Centre is refusing any responsibility, economic compensation, claim, or refund due to persons infected during our Workshops, Art Therapy retreats, Art Therapy Sessions and/or Supervision, face to face activities. Participating in our activities means that you accept these terms and conditions general information and /or related to COVID-19.

General information:

It is not allowed to use our Gestalt Art Therapy Center logo and / or the Arteterapia Gestalt logo under any circumstances without written permission of the Directors.

It is not allowed to post in online places (Facebook, Instagram, Blogs, Twitter, any public online sites) Official certificates that have the signature of the Directors of the Gestalt Art Therapy centre.  You are welcome to share in public online sites the “online certificate" that you will receive with the 'official certificate", without signatures)

 

Art Therapy Sessions, Supervisions & Coaching, Information and Policy cancellation:

 

  • Face to Face:

Registration form must be completed before the sessions. Payments should be completed before the session or maximum one day after the session. Not completing this step could cause legal issues and extra economic charge and you will not be eligible to receive future supervisions. If the Appointment is cancelled 24 h before the session, you can choose another time (no charge). If the cancellation is made after 24 h the session, you will be charged 50% of the fee and you need to arrange a new appointment and payment. Face to face sessions: Compulsory proof of official Vaccine certificate is required to attend the sessions, or negative RAT tests provided by the client, tested at the centre prior each session. If you do not agree with these options you can book an online session.

  • Online:

Registration form must be completed before the sessions. Payments should be completed before the session or maximum one day after the session. Not completing this step could cause legal issues and extra-economic charge and you will not be eligible to receive future supervisions. If the Appointment is cancelled 24 h before the session, you can choose another time (no charge). If the cancellation is made after 24 h of the session, you will be charged 50% of the fee and you need to arrange a new appointment and payment.

Client Username must be provided before Skype sessions and/or Mobile phone number for WhatsApp sessions.

The client must check systems (PC, Tablet, Phone, Skype, WhatsApp, Google meet) to be used during the sessions before each session. If the day and time of the booked session, the communication is not possible because the client didn't check systems before the session, or if the System (Pc, Tablet, Phone) is not working at the session day/time, the session will be classified as a done and must be paid, is the client's responsibility of this situation. If the client would like to have a session, a new booking and payment must be done. Yaro Starak is registered Supervisor AASW and Medicare provider. Please book sessions with Yaro Starak if you will need report for your association and/or PACFA.

​General information Policy cancelation Workshops :

If you cancel your participation 30 days or more than 30 days before the starting of the workshop, the Organizers of the workshop, (Gestalt Art Therapy Centre) will refund you 50% of the total amount that was paid. Gestalt Art Therapy centre will charge 50% of the total fee to cover administration cost. If you cancel your participation less 30 days before the starting of the workshop, there will be no refund. Unfortunately in these circumstances there will be no exchange for any other products or another workshop day/s. Commissions of Payments by Credit card are not refundable. Not registered for GST.

The workshop could be cancelled if there is not more than 4 participants. Directors of the centre will offer then, the reschedule of the workshop. No economic refunds will be made.

Online workshops:
If you cancel your participation less than 24 hours before the day of the workshop, there is no refund or credit forfeiting the payment you would have made to participate in the workshop. If you do not have the necessary materials to participate in the workshop, unfortunately you will not be able to participate. In each event you will be able to read the list of materials required for each workshop on the website and also in the emails we send you, these materials may be similar, although it is necessary to have them. If you cancel your participation in the workshop due to not having the necessary materials, the payment you would have made to participate will not be refunded. Participating in our events means that you accept all these conditions.

Policy cancellation Online training:

Once the online course (short or long) has been paid for and the participant has received the course or part of the course via online, no refund is possible, since they would have already received the complete course or partial, via online.

The use for profit and economic exploitation of any content of Gestalt Art therapy centre, Gemma Garcia and/or Yaro Starak, online courses is prohibited, except that the course authors have authorized permission in writing.  All the contents of the website and/or courses have the intellectual property of their authors Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak and copyright.
Any illegal activity will be reported to the relevant security department and may incur financial fines for those who use the course material provided by Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak illegally.

Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak are not responsible for the misuse of the materials and / or knowledge acquired by the participants in the courses, being the sole responsibility of each participant for the good use and ethical use of this knowledge.

Gestalt Art therapy centre and its directors Gemma Garcia and Yaro Starak, DO NOT grant official certificates to the participants of the courses (in person or online), to became or practice as a Gestalt Therapist, Art therapist and / or Psychologists.

Art Therapy retreats cancelation, Refunds and COVID Safe:

Art Therapy retreat in Heart & Soul Retreat Space. 853 Nobbys Creek Rd, Nobbys Creek NSW 2484. For Retreats in other places, please contact us for Policy, terms and Conditions information.

Possibility of using the Jacuzzi. You are welcome to bring your swimsuit if you want. This option will be canceled during COVID outbreak in the area.

Inform us if you need special Menu due to allergies. Inform us if you are allergic to any Art material like silicon, acrylics etc.

Please note that working with Art materials could be a little bit messy, wear comfortable and used clothing.

All the participants in the Face to face or Online workshops, training, Retreat, Conferences, etc, need to be no less than 18 years old.

The objective of the Art Therapy retreat is Gestalt Art Therapy training; please note we are not offering Therapy sessions. Anyone that is undergoing psychotherapy treatment is not eligible to attend the art camp.

All information collected at the Art Camp (by way of copy, video recording and photography) will be only for the purpose of educational use and for the betterment and improvement of future Art therapy retreats & training courses. All private information of the participants is strictly confidential. Every participant has the right to ask the facilitators to edit or delete his or her data if not in agreement with the content. This request must be sent by email to the Centre directors to gestaltarttherapycentre@gmail.com.

To be able to receive the Art Therapy retreat certificate you must pay and attend the whole weekend. 

Yaro Starak & Gemma Garcia can make changes in the content of the Art Therapy retreat when and if they deem necessary and appropriate.

The facilitators of the Art Therapy retreat are not responsible for accidents at the venue, wild animals encounters ( snakes, etc) any accident at the venue will be responsibility of the owners of the house.  Any allergy conditions for example, food or any issues related to catering will be the responsibility of the booked event Catering business. You give permission to the organizers of the event to seek assistance of medical services (like an ambulance) if you will need it. You will be responsible for any medical expenses that you will need.

Art Therapy Retreats Cancellations policy:

If you cancel your participation more than 90 days before the starting date of the Art Therapy retreat, and if the Organizers of the Retreat didn't pay your accommodation and catering fees participation, the Organizers of the Art Therapy retreat, (Gestalt Art Therapy Centre) will charge 50% of the paid fee to cover administration costs and refund you 50% of the total payment. Bank and/or Paypal commissions are not included in any refund. The refund will be based in the full payment, for cancellations when the payment is partial, please contact us to know the refund policy.

If you cancel your participation less than 90 days before the starting Art  Therapy retreat, there will not be refund to cover the accommodation reservation & administrative fees.

If due to COVID-19 measures

- If you inform us that, you are in quarantine and you can not participate at the retreat, and if the Organizers of the Retreat already paid your accommodation and catering fees participation here will not be refund to cover the accommodation reservation & administrative fees. Also, the makeup of the event (Art Therapy retreat)  will not be possible.

- If before and/o at the moment of starting the retreat you have symptoms, and you will not be accepted at the retreat, here will not be refund to cover the accommodation reservation & administrative fees. Also, the makeup of the event will not be possible.

Participation in the Art Therapy Retreat means that the participant has agreed to all the above.

BORDERS CLOSED and/or flooding in the area of the retreat, info related only with Art therapy Retreats.

If cancellation is made by the organizers of the event, because the borders between QLD and NSW  will be closed due to COVID outbreak, and/or flooding in the area of the retreat venue, and if the organizers did not pay the fees for the event (Chef and rental house fees) and the rent of the venue, the Organizers will refund to participants 100% of payment made. Please note than refunds will be possible only in Retreats payments, only in this specific situation, not in workshops. 

Once the organizers have paid the Art Therapy fees (rent of the venue and catering), unfortunately after that, if participants cancel their participation, no refund or exchange of money for other activities or vouchers will not be made to participants , regardless of the cause of the participant's withdrawal. If the organizers must cancel the retreat due to borders closed due to COVID outbreak, and or also due to flooding in the area of the retreat space Nobbys creek, (that the rain does not allow access to the retreat space) the Art Therapy retreat would be rescheduled. If participants cannot participate in the new dates. Refunds or vouchers or makeup of event would not be possible.

Important information regarding COVID restrictions:

►Participants coming to the Retreat from NSW:
Because the venue is in NSW you do not need a border declaration or traveling pass, and no-proof of vaccines at the moment (we will confirm this info in relation to government rules, if the government will implement another rule, we will follow the new rules), and regarding the safety of the group, gestalt art therapy centre will require:

A proof of Covid test as negative 72 h previous the event (If the retreat will be confirmed on January 15th, 2022, you must have the test before participating at the event). 
This means that you need to have your test not later than January 21st 2022. 
Results must be in before night Friday 21st of January, sending us the confirmation of the negative result please.( screenshot of your mobile that we can see the test result and your phone number)
*Masks are mandatory during the development of the event following government rules.
If you are living in a lockdown zone, unfortunately you will not be allowed to participate at the event. And in this situation unfortunately any economic refund or makeup of the retreat would not be possible.

►For participants from QLD:
We will follow the government rules, if participants should be vaccinated to be able to go to NSW and return to QLD this would be a compulsory requirement.
If you need to complete a border Pass declaration, etc, this would be your own responsibility, if you do not do it or is incorrect and you will not be able to go to the retreat due these circumstances the organizers of the Retreat will not be responsible and economic refund or event makeup will not be possible.

► General information
If at the moment of the retreat you will be sick or in isolation (Living in QLD or NSW or another State or Territory) you will not be allowed to participate at the retreat and unfortunately any economic refund or event makeup will not be possible. The Retreat January 21st, at the moment is confirmed and it is not possible of any economic refund or makeup of the event. If the government will ask for travellers returning to QLD an interstate Covid test. The cost of this test will be the responsibility of each participant. This cost is not included in the Retreat fees. Completing the Registration form and participating in this Retreat means that you accept these conditions.
